ABOUT GO COWLITZ
More than a place to live. A community to be part of.
We made Longview home. Go Cowlitz is our way of helping more neighbors feel connected to the place—and the people—we love.

It started with “We wish we’d known.”
We moved to Longview about five years ago, eager to get out, meet people, and make this place our home. We’re active, we love the outdoors, and we’re always up for a local event. There was just one problem: figuring out what was happening.
We’d spot an advertisement here or hear about something there, but the information was scattered. Too often, we discovered an event we would have loved to attend while it was already happening—or after it was over.
That’s why we started Go Cowlitz: to make it easier to find what’s going on in and around town, make plans, and show up. Our events calendar and newsletter bring those local happenings together so more of us can be part of them.
We’ve come to love so much about this area: the friends we’ve made, the people who’ve welcomed us, the local culture, and the beautiful nature all around us. Most of all, we love getting out and being part of this community.

We’d love to hear about it. If your event isn’t already on our calendar, contact us with the details so we can take a look and help spread the word.
